Varsity Head Coach: Mike Bassani

Lacrosse has been a part of Mike’s life for over 40 years, and he has a passion for teaching and giving back to the sport. Mike was a player at Worthington High School and Denison University. He was the architect of the Youth Lacrosse program in Worthington for 15+ years. He has coached at the Youth, Middle School and High School levels. While an Assistant Coach at Worthington Kilbourne High School, he helped lead the Wolves to four straight Ohio Division I State Championship Games, winning the State Championship in 2009. He has coached 10 US Lacrosse All-Americans, four US Lacrosse Academic All-Americans (including one here at Bexley) and many players that continued their lacrosse careers at the collegiate level. 2020 was Mike’s first year as the Head Coach at Bexley High School.
